About Us
will tell you the story of our family and the rich history of Valley Home Farm. You’ll meet our parents, “Big Daddy” and Martha and the rest of the family. We’ll share some memories of Pa K and Granny Potts and you’ll meet the rest of the family and “almost” family. We’ll tell you about the Cleveland Family that built the house, the famous Tennessee Walking Horses that were raised and bred here at Valley Home by the Albert Dement Family and some other special stories.

Links & Local Favorites is a great place to check out our other favorite farms or local restaurants,  B & B’s and other area attractions and events. Like our good farming friends Jim and Julie Vaughn, just a few miles from us. They offer the best summer vegetables and direct-from-the-farm meats you can find anywhere at their Rocky Glade Farm in Eagleville.  Or visit our friends at Forgie’s Peach Orchard just outside Lewisburg. Bill and Vickie Forgie raise great summer peaches and you can pick-your-own if you like. They’re our pick for our tasty peach jam.

If you want to plan a strawberry outing with friends, pick one of our neat cafes in downtown Wartrace or spend the weekend in one of our local Bed and Breakfast Inns and enjoy a night of Bluegrass at the Pick n’ Parlor or dance to a lively band at The Whistle Stop Café. Valley Home’s  Big Daddy’s Country Café is only open during the fall season.
